Submissions, positions and public record

This library holds NAECEC's formal contributions to public policy: submissions to inquiries and consultations, position statements approved by the Board, responses to regulatory proposals and media releases issued by the Association. Each item is published so that governments, regulators, parliamentarians, researchers and the media can see exactly what NAECEC has said, and when.

The policy areas covered reflect where national settings most directly determine what families experience: funding and subsidy design, workforce supply, qualifications and wages, planning and approvals for new services, regulatory and quality frameworks, child safety and the long-term sustainability of approved providers across Australia.

The reasoning behind these positions is set out in our advocacy priorities and purpose and vision. Positions are approved under the Association's governance framework by the Board, on behalf of our member organisations.
